Services during COVID-19

Following government directives regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, and to protect both clients and staff, Lewisham Community WellBeing has temporarily suspended face-to-face services and is instead offering support via a one-to-one telephone service.

What We Offer

The Community Wellbeing Service currently provides non-clinical support for clients who are living in Lewisham or are registered with a GP in the borough.

The focus of our service is on social and practical mental health and wellbeing support to assist clients’ recovery journey. We do not provide clinical, therapeutic or counselling support.

We provide bespoke, one-to-one intervention which seeks to help clients address social and practical challenges, such as issues with benefits, housing problems and social issues. This often involves signposting clients to specialist advice while supporting them to manage their mental health and improve their wellbeing by utilising self-help techniques, workshops and an online peer support service.

Adults living in the London Borough of Lewisham can access support from us by contacting us directly.

We also accept referrals by health and social care professionals from other organisations. If you would like to refer somebody, please download the referral form.
